A new job role now allows you to earn $10,000 for walking 10,000 steps.


GymBird, a fitness brand, is looking for its first Chief Step Officer (CSO) to motivate people to start exercising.


The CSO accepts the challenge of walking 10,000 steps in a single day for a month and posting their results on social media.


A goal of 10,000 steps per day is frequently regarded as beneficial to physical health. The individual's mileage will vary, but it should be around five miles.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens or have permanent legal residency and be at least 18 years old.


The successful candidate will be required to post one social media post encouraging others to take their first step, a two-minute weekly video recapping how the job is going, and a written paragraph at the end of each week describing their activities, challenges, and feelings.
